Dawood Hussaini
Dawood Hussaini is an Australian Afghan Hazara who was born in Afghanistan. In addition to English language, Dawood is fluent in Dari, Farsi (Persian) and Hazaragi languages. Dawood successfully completed Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor Commerce (Accounting) and Graduate Diploma in legal practice with the University of Adelaide. Dawood’s passion for education and his commitment to continuous learning have encouraged him to further his studies into Master of Laws (Applied Law) with the aim of specialising further in the field of Wills and Estate Planning.

Dawood was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia (“the Court”) as a solicitor and barrister in November 2019 and is registered with the High Court of Australia as a solicitor and barrister. Since his admission to the Court, Dawood has practiced in the areas of Wills and Estate as a solicitor at prominent local South Australian law firms. In addition to assisting clients with their estate planning matters such as drafting wills, Power of Attorneys and Advance Care Directives, Dawood has represented clients in standard to complex Probate and Letters of Administration matters in the Supreme Court of South Australia. Further, Dawood has extensive knowledge and experience of administration of a deceased estate advising executors in respect to their duties and the process of administering a deceased estate and liaising with relevant parties such as financial institutions, aged care services to call in the assets and subsequently distribute the residue of the estate to beneficiaries pursuant to the terms of the will.
As part of his role as an estate planning and probate lawyer, Dawood had the benefit of extending his legal knowledge and experience in other areas of the law such as property and conveyancing. In the recent years of his practice, Dawood and his family called Victor Harbor home and had the privilege of working at a prominent local law firm servicing wonderful people of Fleurieu Peninsula region with their legal matters. Whilst estate planning and administration of a deceased estate are the areas of the laws Dawood has found his passion in and has specialised in the past few years, migration and commercial law have remained close to his heart with the aiming of helping clients with their residency and visa application to call Australia home and to fulfil their dream of establishing, running, selling or purchasing their small businesses.
As part of his continuous commitment to learning, Dawood has recently completed a course in Migration Law for lawyers and ran his business in migration laws. Further, Dawood, as part of his postgraduate studies, has successfully completed a course in Sale and Purchase of business to enhance further his knowledge and expertise in this area of the laws.
In addition to Dawood’s professional approach and expertise in laws, Dawood brings passion and compassion when it comes to assisting his clients. Dawood fully understands the emotional needs of his clients going through a challenging period of their lives dealing with complex and daunting legal issues and tailor his approach to respond to such needs.
Dawood serves clients in greater Adelaide and Fleurieu Peninsula regions. Dawood offers home visits and visits to hospitals and aged care services in respect to Wills, Power of Attorney and Advance Care Directives noting extra charges may apply for visits. Omid Hussaini

Omid Hussaini is a graduate of Investigator College in Victor Harbor, South Australia. He demonstrated strong leadership and academic excellence within the school community. In November 2023, Omid was appointed as one of the College Vice Captains for the 2024 academic year, reflecting his peers’ and teachers’ confidence in his leadership abilities.
Omid is excited to begin studying a bachelor of economics at the University of Adelaide. Omid hopes to follow in Dawood’s footsteps to become an esteemed and respected Solicitor.
